National Alfa Day - Gaydon 2003

Obviously many of you will be going to the main AROC meet of the year but just thought there may be some convoys going down.

The Derbyshire Section usually meet at Tibshelf services in the morning and travel down.

I may be going down on saturday and staying over the night. Any thoughts? Who's going? Its June 22nd.......put it in ya diary now wink

I'll be there! But I'm not sure when I'm going. Its going to be a busy summer. I'm going to :

AutoItalia Concours @ Stanford Hall
National Alfa Day @ Gaydon
AutoItalia day @ Brooklands (sat)
Goodwood Festival of Speed (sun)

plus a few more I'm sure wink

Sounds good!
After the debacle of last year when I got 20 miles from home before a breakdown I am determined to come this year! Its a three Alfa family now so it should add nicely to your convoy - that is if you don`t mind the lowly 156 tagging along at the back...
I might get to eat the sarnies and cold chicken at the meet instead of in a laybay on the M62

oooohh Norwich very nice. Have you got you passport so they let you into Norfolk. I always think it might as well be another country its so damn far from anywhere.
Has anyone else been to Gaydon before. I went around 1996, and from what I can remember is full of Austin Maxis, Princess, Alegros and other fine quality British built cars (heres me being an Alfa fan and criticising British build quality). Stange choice for an Italian car gathering I thought, but I suppose its better than wading through a field of mud and goose sh*t wink

I went to Spring Alfa Day last year at Gaydon. The museum is excellent and don't think I managed to see it all. There's plenty of Italian design even if its on Brit car, few very odd designs too eek!

As you say Stu, better than the sheep deposits of previous year's wink
