Hi.

Would be more than happy to have a more local get together.

Just had our first baby so distance has become a bit of an issue.

wink

I'm in the East Midlands, but close to the M42/A42 so not aversed to driving out Birmingham way if something has been arranged.

The roads near Ashby are "Alfa Alley" for the hapless Beemer boys, since Tarquini showed up last year.

I'd be up for it. What sort of venue are you thinking? Just a pub and a chat, or maybe one of the motor museums in the area?

Keep the ideas and suggestions coming...

What about Donington - there's a motor museum and only a couple of miles from the end of the A42(M42) so not too bad from Birmingham (and Ashby) and the A50 through from Stoke is close-by too (Kegworth).

Of course, I'm biased coz I live in the East mids. But I'm willing to drive out somewhere further west. Are there any places of interest in central/west mids? e.g. a blast round Cannock Chase with pub lunch or something?

Donington would be good for me, it's only down the road!!! I've been to the museum a couple of times, some great cars there!
Its the home of the Bimotore eek!

there is a toy collectors fair in the exhibition hall there on 23rd March. I may be able to have my arm twisted and come down. Might be able to pick up a minichamps 155 or two wink

Eyop lads,
I'm up 4 it too.. Brummie land & surroundings are fine by me; I live (unfortunately) in Bicester (J10 M40) so I'm not too far.

Don't think I can make the weekend of the 23rd either - (probably visiting g/f's parents ). It'd be a shame to miss the model fair, but I could make it the weekend before.
