Don't know when and where it is, but I've heard from many a member here that it's fun

I tried to type a capital A and D but for some reason they were changed automatically. Even after editting.

So NAD is different to the Auto Italia day at Brooklands on April 30th then?

That's strange I tested it on my new thread in the WOT lounge and it came up ... maybe it just this lounge then

... anyway, onwards with your thread

When I did a google for 'National Alfa Day' I too got differing dates for 2005 and venues

Re: Nad?

NAD (National Alfa Day) is AROC's biggest event of the year. Usually upwards of 1000 Alfas of all shapes and colours there, trade stands, Club shop and loads of faces to put names to. All welcome.

It was our first time at Boughton House (near Kettering) last year and many thought it had been the best event for years - so we're going back.

You'll be welcome at SAD (Spring Alfa Day) as well. This year it'll be at the Imperial War Museum at Duxford, near Cambridge on 17th April and about 400 cars are expected. There's a superb aviation museum and a military vehicle museum at the site, so lots to see besides the Alfas.

Re: Nad?

Slightly closer to Devon, the local sections of the AROC will be organising the Bristol Italian Car Day on April 30th (see www.arocbriswest.co.uk) and the South West Alfa Day at Longleat, Wiltshire on September 11th.

Re: Nad?

There's a good reason for that...it's not on their site anywhere I had to do another 2 second google search for another site that mentioned it

Re: Nad?

Got my route map sorted. 180 mile journey for me so it looks like an overnight stay.
Now then accommodation. Should I book a B&B or dare I risk getting the tent out?

We stayed over in Kettering last year....but I wouldn't recommend the hotel we stayed....George Hotel or somet like.

Re: Nad?

Do i have to be a member of AROC to go to the Spring and National alfa days?

Do you think the people at Duxford will let me compare the sound of a GTA engine to a Spitfire's

Hopefully i'll be able to go to both. They will be my first time at both!

Will they let me in with a Fiat Coupe? Or will I have to park with the peasants in their Reno Clio Puppies?

You don't need to be a member. Everybody is welcome - even those in Fiat Coops, though Coops & Puppies will have to park with the Trabants and Skodas.

Hopefully non-members will be so impressed by how AROC is that they'll immediately join up . Be sure to have a chat with those running your local sections to find out what's going on in your area. Section secretaries are available at various times of the day at the Alfa Hospitality unit.

Re: Nad?

We will be going to the SAD at Duxford this month. Always wanted to go and have a look around there and now I get two for the price of one..
Does anybody know how much entry etc. is? Anyone travelling down the A1 for us to look out for as well?
