NAD Pics

1) Meeting at the Little Chef.
2) Alfa day at the Little Chef.
3) A beautiful sight (sorry its not 155s).
4) Wrinx goes on the search for another Lada Niva to make a pair, whilst the 155 street gang place a cake bomb in the back.

Re: NAD Pics

Look at piccy 1! It's me in my lovely knitted jumper! (I was late getting up and couldn't find a cooler one, OK?)
I've sneaked into a 155 piccy! BWAAAAHAAAAHAAAHAAA!!!!!!

BTW, I didn't take any piccies of them myself, but would a 'most Godawful travesty seen at NAD' piccy competition be worthwhile do you think? I saw some terrible terrible sights while I was there. There was the 145 with the park bench on the back, painted in an attractive combination of tan primer and silver. Or the 33 with 'Alfa 33 Reg' written across the back window in black insulating tape.
Oh, and who on here owns a 33 sportwagon? Coz there was a really nice one there with AO stickers in the back windows

Re: NAD Pics

I pointed out Wrinx in the last picture to my wife.

She said "That'll be his girlfriend then"

"How do you know it's not his wife ???" I replied

"Because he's holding her hand" she said

Re: NAD Pics

Glad you took a piccy of the white GTZ Barry, Bob and I both agreed that it looked nicer than the red ones next to it. BTW, did you notice what was weird about the red one on the far right?

Nope, tell me....

Marlon, yes I knew, just don't need to "big him up" too much or he get big headed.

Re: NAD Pics

Well, they were all left hand drive, but the one in question appeared to have had the wipers converted for right hand drive.
As well as making no sense at all, it had also resulted in the arm taking a great chunk of paint out of the bonnet where it was fouling.

MT and Myself wee chatting to him and apparently the guy doesn't come onto the forum.
It's a 1.8 with red and black leather interior, he wants a V6 so it's going to be up for sale.
It's a nice car, not too sure about the pipes though

Re: NAD Pics

The pipes look a bit Honda Civic with neons for me with the bling surround. Maybe a different story if it had been done full DTM style

Re: NAD Pics

He was thinking about a 156 V6, but i after i informed him it's a nice car but with less aggressive suspension and will be front heavy with the V6 he seemed keen on the idea of transplanting another engine into that 155. Especially when i told him how much Sub's 2.0 pushes out.

I agree about the pipes Henry, the only part of the car i didn't like. Reckon having them flush would have been a big improvement. But i was impressed with the rest of the car, liked the interior a lot.

Re: NAD Pics

The Red roof SZ came from the factory like that, I used to own that one and it came with a letter of authentication from Zagato. All other SZ's were red with black roof except Mr Zagato's own SZ which was black all over. RZ's come in red, black and yellow. Three were made in metallic silver and one in pearlescent white. RZ's have smooth bonnets unlike the SZ and the air intake is also slightly different from the SZ. Externally they are mostly the same (obviously excepting the lack of roof and rear spoiler). Internally there are detail differences most obviously RZ dials are white SZ's are black.

Great day never seen so many SZ's together in one place, or Montreals either. Terrific to meet you all too!

The white TZ1 didnt have the 3 square blocks on the bonnet like the 2 red ones - what are these for ? (agree, the white one was the nicest).

Went looking to buy a 75....................... not one for sale amoungst the whole of NAD....... not that I saw anyway.

Overall, much better venue than Gaydon. really good event.
The vents on the TZ1s were for cooling and in photos, I've seen a number of different configurations (open, closed, different shapes). My guess is that the white car may have been intended for road use, rather than competition.

Re: NAD Pics

Really? Maybe it was green then. I thought it was a dark magenta red colour. Shall we give Bob the deciding vote?
