I posted this in the other meeting lounge but thought i'd put it on here too:
Just received this email from Phil Ward at Auto Italia (I think he's included me becasue of my lame attempts to get a 155 area set up for Stamford Hall last year):
BROOKLANDS SPRING ITALIAN CAR FESTIVAL
Sunday May 2nd
Redevelopment of the Vickers runway at Brooklands has been brought forward
which means that the track day we had planned for this April has been
postponed until 2007! However, a one day event will go ahead on Sunday May
There will be Italian car displays arranged in the paddock in front of the
Club House, on the restored banked track and on grassed areas within the
boundaries of the main museum area. Demonstrations of selected cars will
take place on the Test Hill throughout the day.
The featured marque this year is Alfa Romeo and a number of historic,
classic and competition cars have been invited to form a display in the
paddock. There will also be a special Alfetta feature, in celebration of the
modelıs 30th anniversary.
Other major displays will include supercars from Ferrari, Maserati,
Lamborghini and De Tomaso, and special club areas for Alfa Romeo, Lancia and
the Fiats owners' clubs.
Entry to this exciting event will also include admission to all the motoring
and aviation exhibitions. There will also be an extensive trade area and
autojumble and refreshments will be available from the museumıs restaurant.
Entry is £9 per adult payable at the main entrance on the day. For enquiries
concerning trade stands and autojumble please call Ruth Dunham on Tel: 01707
273999 x 244 or email [email protected]
Is there any plans for an Alfaowner presence at this event? If not shall we try and get a 155 display organised?
