The Second North West Meet??

I've been looking at forthcoming events at Oulton Park or Donington for a possible repeat of the 'Great North West Meet' we had in July.

The best event with some AR action is at Oulton Park on Saturday 11 October. The programme seems similar to the July meet and features the:

- Alfa Romeo Championship
- Le Mans Autoitalia Championship
- Mighty Minis Championship
- Opal Telecom North West FF1600 Championship

Does anyone fancy it?

I found them a little scary to be honest.
eek!
But I like 164 people (even though they never have any cutlery with them)

Yeah - M40, round brum town, then up another motorway to "the North".

Next time i'll bring my coat, as when I left last time i made the assumption it would sunny up north, as it was in the South. MISTAKE. It was grey by the time I got to Brum, and that was half way - it was twice as bad when I got there. I nearly wore my shorts as well

Well, it's a good excuse to use a tank of fuel again....

Shame Max Power weekend is back on @NEC in Birmigham, as opposed to last time - I just LUUUUUUUUURRRRRRRRVED racing all those Saxo/GTI's on the motorway

Websites are like ********s, everyone has one, and im wary of any bloke trying to direct people into their's

I also met (Chris) with a very rare 164Q4 and he said GOOD things about the 156 JTD.

I remember when this was a field of 156s.

It has to be said, Rick has obviously got himself a reputation, with all these posts about luggage nets and prams. 164nutter was really surprised that Rick didn't have a full range of cutlery with him. laughing

Just before talking to you, he went over to his V6 owning friend and said 'Look mate, there's a diesel owner over there, watch him be pathetically grateful when I claim to like the JTD. Tell you what, do you fancy a bet? I bet you a fiver that I can tell him I prefer the JTD to the GTA, on sheer driving pleasure, and he'll believe me'

I wouldn't be surprised if they took pictures of you looking blissfully happy too. wink
