Herts car show this Wednesday

For any of you in the vicinity of Hertfordshire, theres a classic car show on Harpenden common "Classics on the Common" this Wednesday evening from 7.30pm.
Last year there was a good selection ,including a fair few of Italy`s finest.Worth a look if you are in the area!

What an evening! It seems that my hometown has its very own "Festival of Speed".
There were hundreds of interesting cars to see,including 2 Lamborghini Countach (5000 QV and Anniversary),Diablo 6.0,TVR Cerberas,Chimaeras,Noble M12 GT0,Ferrari 348,308,Astons,Lancia Stratos,2 Dodge Vipers (one a GTS),Dodge Charger,AC Cobra 427,Shelby Mustang GT500 ,911 flat engined,sand rail and even a road going Jaguar XJR 9 Le Mans replica!
Later on the Hertfordshire Police turned a "blind eye" whilst sevral muscle cars and supercars performed impromptu burn outs!
The sight of a 6.0 litre Diablo, burning rubber down my local high street is something I won`t forget in a hurry!
Representing the Alfa contingent were a GTV6,a Giulia,105 series GTV and a 156 GTA SW. http://www.fotango.com/p/eba00347869f00000001.jpg

I went last year and it poured with rain, forgot all about this year and my brother who lives in Harpenden forgot to remind me.
Looks like a good turn out.

Yep,think it was a replica.Very nice,though! Didn`t the original have have a Ferrari Dino V6?
An Alfa V6 would`nt be a bad substitute.

Always a bit disappointing when they open the back up and its got a Beta four cylinder in there.

That red Viper GTS can be seen quite a lot locally.Think the owner lives in Harpenden.
