Classic insurance on 147?

Anyone managed to get classic insurance on a 147 yet?
I have modern classic policy on my Fiat coupe turbo so likely will be calling footman james tomorrow to see what they can do.

Hi coupedummy,

The Alfa 147 model is a bit too young for traditional classic car policies, which will also require the vehicle to feature regularly as a classic model within the classic car press/media.

If it's not your everyday vehicle, we do have products that could cover the 147 on a limited mileage/limited use basis. Which would reward the reduced road exposure.

To qualify for this type of product and to achieve the best terms you would need to have access to an everyday vehicle Insured in your own name (ie. used for commuting/business). Providing you had a good record we would be able to mirror your NCB from your main vehicle, or to allow a company car NCB concession.

If you get 10 minutes spare, we'd welcome the opportunity to take a look at this for you.

Kind regards

Tony
