Great service and price from Chris Knott

Been struggling to get a decent price based on this:

GTV V6 - 2004

I'm 44, wife is 40

No convictions, accidents or claims

9 years NCB

Third car so mileage no more than 4k per year

Not able to find insurance for less than £470

Quick call to Chris Knott - very courteous and efficient, came back with a price of £390

I have no idea why you were being quoted so high in the first place, but there you go, that's insurance.

Judge insurance service on if you have to claim. They are all very good at taking (stealing) your money

One of the reasons I stay with CKI is how I was treated when my 156 got totalled & I got injured. Very good but sadly, more expensive than the opposition nowadays

they've just done me a cracking deal - knocked 10% off the best quote i could find elsewhere and matched the low excess

so £506 is now £456

top marks to them, very easy and professional to deal with

Insurance premiums are a complete lottery. CKI were not competitive on either my Giulietta or GTV. The latter is with AF on a limited mileage (but not "classic") policy, the former is with eSure.
My Fiat Punto (also driven by my 18 year old step son) is with Co-op - don't ask what the premium is on that one! It is only affordable at all as all my GTV NCB was transferred across to it last year.

The GTV with now only 1 Yr NCB is due for renewal now. AF want £231 only a slight increase on last year. CKI said they couldn't beat it. Alfa Romeo Insurance came back with £700+. Looks like I shall be staying with AF.

Chris Knott have just given me an absolute steal of a price. I can't tell you or you'd not take this post seriously! I only left them as they had a funny unvompetitive year but they are back and I am very happy to be with them instead of some random internet only cowboys.

If you've ever been a customer of theirs quote '999' for a further £20 even after any other discounts!!
