Well Happy I bought a Pagani Zonda

Whilst in the Modena area, we visited the small Pagani factory & as EVO readers, got shown round the showroom area & two Zonda F's.

I was so impressed with the Zonda, I decided what the hell & bought one

OK, OK, It's 1:43rd scale and together with a €20 brochure cost me €75 but I do have a invoice, from Pagani, stating that I bought a Zonda off them

Cheers,

Re: I bought a Pagani Zonda

You had me going there for a minute.

I was driving past the Pagani factory a few years back and saw this Pagani fly past me at an alarming speed - obviously being tested.
They are wide beasts though and the roads around the factory are the usual quite tight narrow ones that if you go off will send your car cart wheeling accross a field.

Did you visit the Ferrari factory?

Re: I bought a Pagani Zonda

Not the factory but had a guided tour of the Galleria. Saw Alfa at Arese, Lambo, Masserati, the old Bugatti place & a couple of others. A top 12 days. Will publish full details soon!!

Post a pic of your Zonda anyway, should have done that first and waited to see if any of us noticed

Re: I bought a Pagani Zonda

The design of the Zonda totally eclipsed anything else we saw while out there. More a piece of art than a car though - and that Merc engine :-| The 599 Fiorano was the nicest real world car but I'd still have the F430 if I could!!! Oh to have the choice??

Re: I bought a Pagani Zonda

Well, I'm afraid you weren't that original... I did pull off this stunt almost three years ago, with pictures included.

https://www.alfaowner.com/Forum/showt...t=ahead+bought

A bit of history, back then I was engaged to Andrea, who is still a registered user but isn't around anymore. The reason? We got divorced last year. That's the reason you can't see the pictures anymore, Hans (Selespeed) did me the great favor of deleting all the pictures of her from the forum. (Thanks Hans!).

However, I'm now seeing real proof that I did move on in my life and that the wounds have healed. That thread doesn't bother me anymore, even though she did write (and model) in that very thread.

Time does heal the heart, given that you are in the disposition of getting healed in the first place, of course.

And now I'm looking for a wife, again.

Thank you Simon for making me realize this.

Re: I bought a Pagani Zonda

Saw a Zonda sometime ago in Singapore. Nothing special you say, but those guys have 100%+ tax on import cars, so that must have made it a EUR 1m car.

Now, that's some seriously rich son of a gun (no, I am not envious, really!).

Ah. If that doesn't deserve a big AO group hug, nothing posted here ever will.

Glad we've got the "old" Ant back.

I'm glad you noticed it. Thanks.

However, right now I'm dealing with another heartbreaking situation, albeit not as difficult as last year's...

But I'll prevail and get over it, it's in my nature.

Museum girl? Or somebody else we haven't heard about?
Come on, you can't think we'll be satisfied with a teaser like that.

I had forgotten about "museum girl"...

No, somebody I basically never mentioned. We broke up almost a month ago, but it broke my heart in so many ways and pieces I've had a really hard time getting over her. I gave that relationship all I had, I held nothing back as I was sure I had "found her". I was wrong and paid a dear price for that. I'll be honest, I'm not comfortable yet to speak about this, I hope you understand. I didn't mean to tease, it's just too painful for me to talk about this... But I'll be able to as time passes by.

However, I'll keep on looking for "the one" girl for me, I know she's out there.

Re: I bought a Pagani Zonda

No problem. I won't pry (anymore that is ).

I just remember you posting something about possibly finding "the one" and I was just trying to remember what else you said about her.

Thanks guys.

I'm trying hard to keep my head high and my hopes up too.

And AM, what's the story behind the nurse, if you don't mind me asking??

Sorry Ant, but I'm not about to publish the full story.... Suffice to say that when you do finally (and usually unexpectedly) meet your ideal companion/soulmate/lover, there is no doubt, and you both sense this immediately.

Don't worry mate.

And I'll keep my hopes high then. I know she's out there somewhere.
