Fiat + VW = My Fiat Uno Turbo project.

My project car is not for the faint hearted purists, as there is basically nothing left standard.

The last addition of parts to the huge stock is a 6-speed DSG DQ250 gearbox, which means that I have to ditch my Omex 600 engine management system and buy this one https://www.ecumaster.com/products/emu-black/

Car have been sitting in the corner of my garage/workshop for 10 years, but I am finally very close to actually start building

Tips and tricks are always welcome..

That just leaves me with questions:

VW engine and, if so, which?
Why a DSG instead of a manual?

What we really need is a picture thread.

No, 1,4 Uno Turbo engine (+300Hp). DSG box because it's faster and can handle more power + it's not been done before.. Pictures are no fun yet, as it's still just a huge pile of expensive parts...

A few keywords being: MasterPower twinscroll turbo, +11 cm wider bodywork (in steel) on each side, full rollcage, stripped out interior, custom GAZ coilovers, Sparco Evo seats, fuel cell, Nuke Performance parts for fuel, electric power steering, 6-pot Tarox brakes, Tilton pedals plus lots and lots of other goodies and a total weight under 800kg.
