My faithful pride and joy needs a new home.

Guys,
After a lot of deliberation I have decided that in the interests of common sense i'm going to have to find a new home for my 2001 156 1.6 Veloce Sportwagon rather than leave it parked up since the arrival of my new Giulietta.
It has given me 12 years and 275,000 miles of absolute pleasure and it would be great if it could go to another enthusiastic owner who will love and cherish it as I have done.
Although it has that mammoth mileage on the clock, it has Full Alfa Romeo Service History from day one all done at Benfield Alfa Romeo in Newcastle upon Tyne where they have looked after it as if it was there own, there are 24 dealer stamps in the book (find any other car with that history), has wanted for nothing and has been meticulously cared for.
My 156 is very well know throughout the Alfa community and has featured several times in Auto Italia and on The Cloverleaf Website where they did a full length feature on it.
I have carried out a few mods over it's life span including fitting 17" GTA Alloys, an Auto Delta Front Grille, Eibach Sportline Springs and has recently had a new cam belt, water pump, tensioners, variator, alternator, battery, radiator, temperature relay, expansion tank, shock absorbers, tyres, wheel bearings, torsion bars, chassis rails (I could go on) etc and on a recent Alfa Romeo Vehicle Health Check using the traffic light system came up 100% green lights.
It is in silver with full red leather and even still smells of leather.
I am open to sensible offers to see it go to a good home and I can send photographs on request if it takes any of you collectors fancy.
Come on guys, you know you want it!

Foolishly I thought an advert in Auto Italia might attract the more discerning buyer but obviously not!

I 'sold' it three time and not one of the buyers even bothered to turn up.

Why oh why oh why!!!!!

Looks like I should really keep it for a short while longer until the dealer finally sorts out all of the Giulietta niggles, it's good to have as a spare!

Hi Guys,

My insurance runs out this Friday and as my 156 is now surplus to requirements I thought i'd see if anyone on here fancied it before I consider reinsuring it.

If anyone is interested please PM me.

Many thanks.
