Euro Emmissions Regulation

Reading the following:

http://www.theregister.co.uk/2006/08...car_emissions/

They're after the low hanging fruit again ...

cars and the individuals so we all need to run hybrids which are actually worse polluters over their whole lifecycle than the equivalent petrol or diesel car (although better at the point of consumption).

how many cars do Alfa produce that have emissions around the magic 140
mark?
And it's not as if you can go buy some tree's to carbon bank the excess as this apparently only makes things worse....

Well I'm being two cars today My brera is 273

My smart roadster was 123g/m3 but not exactly practical and useful over long runs.... that's a 82bhp 700cc turbo - so taking note - that's what we're all going to be buying in 4 years time....

no wonder AR are looking at a 139....
