Alfa Indie in Hull closing down?

I've been advised that a well-known Alfa Indie in the North-East - Mike Roberts, based in Hull, is unfortunately effectively closing down, after his premises were flooded out in the storms last month. Obviously much of his equipment and stock have had to be scrapped, but he also had a large amount of stock of parts for many models from Sud and 33 onwards which was stored above flood level and has survived.

I understand that he is likely to be listing much of this stuff on Ebay, but as he needs to clear out his unit in a short timescale, he is happy to take requests and offers for anything that he has.

Mike can be contacted on 01482 214163.

I have no involvement with Mike apart from having sold him some parts some years ago!

Might have been insured but just sees it as the right time to get out?

As I understand it, he is insured but surprise surprise the insurance company are dragging their feet - and he may not have "loss of business cover" whilst its all sorted out. Mike is approaching retirement age anyway (as am I) and it may be that the effort of starting afresh is simly more than he feels able to tackle.

I realise that this is an old thread but Googling him in Hull he seems to have some new premises. Does anyone know if he had a change of heart and opened a new garage? I'm pick up my first ***** tomorrow and have been looking for my local indie.
