Dealer V Indie

Whats is best?

A main Alfa dealer (there is one not that near me)

Or

An Alfa specialist Indie? (I have had to recommendations for people close to me)

I might need to have my 159 looked at in the new year, ive not had it long so might be worth getting it looked at just for peace of mind.

I wouldn't even consider a main dealer, they are not even that good and it costs a fortune, if i was you i would take a trip to Autolusso South, only 50 minutes away from you, they are so helpful and do the best work, they are members of the forum too so any questions you could either give them a ring or a pm.

A&M Alfa are in wickham, very small set up....basically a lock up so cheap as a result - ok if you want basics done. He serviced my GTV and changed the brakes and bushes on suspension. Very happy with the price. No diagnostic equipment so could be an issue on a 159.

Also mike Roberts near wickham. Google the Maserati shed. Again I've used him in the past and again a very knowledgeable guy. Also a one man band. He has all the latest diag kit though.

Also autolusso south as mentioned above. Have had clutch, quaiffe and other stuff done there. Owner Laurence is a great guy and very helpful. Much bigger set up than the other 2 , they'd be who id recommend out the 3 . Also very happy to drop/pick up from the station

Hope that helps.

Specialist. A lot of dealers share with Hyundai or the like, so are technicians that fit bits to cars as opposed to people that work exclusively on Alfa's.
