Have I gone TOO bling?

Well after 12 'joyous' years and 275,000 miles in my 156 SW, i'm off to collect my new Alfa on Tuesday BUT i'm worried I may have gone over the top on the colours and spec.

It's a 170 BHP Giulietta, White with Red Leather heated electric seats, tinted rear windows, 18" Anthracite Alloys and Xenons...........and seemingly does 60.1 MPG, best of both worlds?

Any thoughts?

To make up for the 'blingness' and my 30,000 miles a year, I went for the 60.1 MPG diesel.

My recent experience with a modern, economical diesel wasn't favourable...we had a Volvo V40 D2 for 4 weeks with a 1.6 TD engine. Over 800 miles of varied short and long journeys with my wife mostly driving, it managed a rubbish 41mpg compared to the 78mpg advertised. Horrible thing. Mind you that is double what I get in the 156...

There is a split opinion on whether or not white shows up the Giulietta's curves to best advantage. Personally I prefer the Magnesio Grey but then I am biased and tend to go for understatement rather than bling.

Anyway all the best with the new motor, the G looks far better than a eurobox whatever the colour and it would be a dull old world if we all liked the same things

Me neither but it is the best of what is out there, so I thought i'd make it a bit different from all of the other Giuliettas out there!

The DERV definitely negates the bling-ness, so you'll be fine.

Well it arrived today and even with it's blingness it is absolutely stunning.

Thanks to Dax and the lads at Benfield Alfa for sorting it for me.
