AVOID seller on eBay

I bought Fiat Alfa Lancia EPER **VERSION.78** latest release for 2013**!! on eBay from autoepcdiagnostics
Faulty DVD, returned and still haven't been refunded. Seller says he didn't receive returned DVD even though I sent pics of proof of postage from Post Office.
Have opened eBay case against seller and eBay have removed his listing for this product for the moment. Keep an eye out and buy from some other seller.

Proof of postage isn't proof of delivery though. This is the reason why we send everything we sell by recorded post, so we have proof the item has actually made it to the destination. Perhaps the seller hasn't received the DVD back from Royal Mail?

The amount of post we've had lost over the years is unreal. We send out approx 1 or 2 sacks of mail per day.

That's fair enough, I understand that and I probably should have used recorded mail to return the faulty item. It seems strange though that eBay removed his item so its no longer for sale. He did say he would refund money anyway and i didn't need to return DVD. It was burned onto a brand-less DVD anyway so must have cost seller pennies to produce.
Need to wait for outcome of eBay resolution case to see if i get my money back. I have since bought another one from a different seller that does work. Its the principle of the matter. I was sold a faulty item, I returned it expecting a refund and now nothing.
