Touch up paint

Does anybody know if there are any websites that supply Alfa touch up paint? I don't have a dealer anywhere near me.

Thanks
Ian

Re: Touch up paint

Hi icarlisle, got mine mixed at Halfords just give them the colour code and they should be able to do it for you.

btw just watch them whilst they mix it as they do make mistakes!! 1st attempt with mine and Lipari Grey was rather PINK!!

Re: Touch up paint

On an earlier thread, I said that Halfords wouldn't mix up my colour because it contained a lead based pigment, but a main dealer (was Dixons, Leeds) posted a touch up kit out to me when I gave them cc details over the phone.

Re: Touch up paint

how much do halfords charge for mixing some up? are there any reputable web-based suppliers?

i only need a tiny amount of lipari grey to sort out a couple of stone chips that have gone through to the metal

am i right in thinking that a bit of primer, several thin coats of paint and then a clearcoat are the way to go?

Re: Touch up paint

If your car is 130R (Alfa Red), use Mitsubusi Palma Red from Halfords. It's way better than the dealer cack they sell you!!
