"Bought"? Can't you borrow, or use a tape measure? It would be cheaper.

After our expensive Bugaboo was stolen we replaced with a £15 Argos 'umbrella' type stroller. It was perfectly adequate and folded very small. If you buying before trying at least it's not dear

This is what I would do. Go to a mothercare/kiddicare etc and tell the assistant that your most important product spec is that it fits in the back, I'm sure they wouldn't mind helping you find a suitable one.

We once did that with suitcases. Me, wife and shopassistant marched across the carpark with 2x large cases, 1x medium and 2x small to check they would fit in the boot of a Xsara.

I would add that the boot had previously been measured and the combination of cases that would fit had been worked out in theory. I still would not buy them until we had checked that theory matched practice.

I think you're looking at the problem from the wrong angle:

Why not upgrade to a Giulietta or 159?

Seat Ateca SE

Quinny Zapp. Folds small enough to fit in a Mini Convertible.
