Auto Protect Silver Car Warranty.

Is it worth the paper it is written on?

3 months warranty was given to me from the Main Dealer that I bought my GT from last week and was wondering if it is actually of any use in the event of a failure?

Many many complaints about these warranty companies. RAC had licensed thier brand name to some Warranty group, due to the complaints they ended up pulling the license.

I've read posts on various boards from people who have had good stories too though. Personally I wouldn't bother. I'd get the warranty from the dealer, if he wants to get some third party involved thats on him. This currant trend of shifting responsibility away from the dealer only serves them, not the consumer.

Many of these insurance underwritten warranties have so many get out clauses, it's sometimes difficult ot see what they actually DO cover.
But I firmly believe that if you ever need something doing under that warranty, it will involve you putting your hand in your pocket somewhere along the line.
