Whoever they are, they won't be a redneck. Chrysler's current plants are all in the Northern states: Indiana, Ohio, Michigan and Illinois, plus other plants in Mexico and Canada.
"We'll build in the USA" is a perennial threat to the Italian unions. I don't know how they'd make good on it, though, as Chrysler is starting to hit capacity problems in their plants.
I suppose the only logical model is the Alfa Compact SUV - it's based on Jeep Cherokee, which is assembled in the USA already. And I can't see much of a prestige issue in Europe from saying that your SUV is built in a factory that makes Jeep vehicles.
