Alfa on new Goldfrapp album cover...

I wasn't sure if this belongs here or in general alfa discussion but I noticed that the cover of the new Goldfrapp album 'Tales of us' features an Alfa on the cover. I think it's a facelift 156.

Which is nice!

The headlamps look too rounded for a face lift 156

they were round behind the headlight cover the gt's shield was much sharper, like a straight 'V' shape. the one on the 156 was slightly more curved. reckon this'll need an email to their pr company

That's definitely a 156 FL, which is a shame, because Goldfrapp are ****.

Each to their own.. I'm a big fan of both the 156 FL and Goldfrapp, and if it wasn't for their excellent choice of car for the photo shoot, I wouldn't have known there's a new album out.

Here's a wider picture, shows the 3 spots in the headlight so is definitely not a GT.

Oh, that's a 159 then. They're very closely related at the front, to be fair, until you're in a crash anyway

Doesn't the 156 FL come with the three spot headlights also?

Yes, but not that well defined. Also once you know to look for it, you can see the lip of the bumper beneath the lights on the far side.

Yep, that looks like a 159/Brera/Spider.

I can't make out any of the other cars though. They obviously picked the Alfa as it was the most photogenic vehicle at the shoot.

I like the 'frapp and that's what made me spot the Alfa in the first place.

That's an almighty guff that Ms Goldfrapp has let off though.

Nope the Brera and Spider have a smaller shield than the 159 so it's not a Brera

Might have to get that album if the artwork is that good. Got their first 3 albums, which are pretty good

Garage
I got this album for Christmas and wondered if anyone else had spotted the Alfa on the cover (of course they had!). Great album, almost back to her best (which for me was the debut "Felt Mountain"). Got tickets to see her live in Bristol in a few months too. I'll ask her whether it's a 159, Brera or Spider on the cover (she's bound to know).

Agree it's a beautiful album... bought it as a high-resolution download from their site. Was actually cheaper than the CD.

Enjoy the gig... not jealous at all. no...
