GTV V6 on Ebay

Seen this on Ebay http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/ALFA-ROMEO...-/141046768213

Looks a good car and price. Does anyone know or recognise it?

Thanks in advance Dario

I'd have a very good look at the bonnet/bumper shut lines for a start.

Could just be a collapsing bumper iron or it could be an accident tell-tale.

Looking closer, it's low just in front of the wheels ( both sides ) and uneven across the front.

Looks nice, strange how he has the Beemer style aerial on the roof but kept the old one.

Eeh it's right lush..

Of course it could still be a crock underneath... but it smells "right" to me.

Personally I've always thought the Alfa GT was much better looking car than this GTV ...

Too red for me. And two different makes of tyre on the rear isn't a particularly good idea.

What's with the multiple listings? Wasn't bid it to the 2K mark already? Wasn't it in an auction while simultaneously listed with a 'buy it now' at 2250 ish?

I noticed the dorsal fin aerial lastnight.

And it took me a while to notice them, but what's with the badges on the red part of the door cards?

People that add extra badges worry me a bit, and I am not sure how that fits with the non-OE aerial and the all red interior is a feature that's now not standard. Plus that steering wheel, I am sure most people don't intend to have a prang but in such circumstances having an airbag that deploys may be useful.

At least it doesn't have the Ann Summers Momo handbrake lever embellisher (batteries not included).

Covering damage where the doors have been slammed on the seatbelt buckle?

They're at the top, and seem to almost be pressed into the red bits.

I have one foot firmly in the tempted camp. I don't have a need but that redness does appeal.

GTV on Ebay

Asked the vendor a couple of questions. It was first registered in 1999. He thinks it's had 4-5 owners. He has owned the car only for 2 months. Importantly he did not answer my question as to whether (to his knowledge) the car had been involved in any accidents.I think i will give it a miss.
Again thanks for the replies

looks good, no mention of suspension work though - which could easily take half the price to get sorted
