anyone used Deen's (Hampton) recently?

think this is a general technical enquiry rather than model specific?

anyone used Deen's near Hampton Court recently and able to comment? reviews on the net are split 50/50 (and there's only a handful) so thought i'd ask

the GTV6 needs some attention which is beyond me so looking for someone local to Kingston to take it on. i spotted them whilst out and about but unfortunately outside of opening hours so couldn't talk to them direct and i'm not back in the area for a while now

regards
paul

There is also SE Autos in Shepperton, who is more of a one man band and therefore you generally need to book. Good value though

theres HWM in walton, but they are a newish main dealer, so check if they would do an older model. Theres Allams in Epsom, where I bought mine, but again is a main dealer.
I have used Keith Waite a mobile one man band and he was good. You could google him.

Can you let me know how you get on? My belts need doing soon...Cheers Paul

Don't bother with both the main dealers named below unless you want to pay fancy prices

quick update as requested

stopped by to discuss the car. essentially, i've bought another V6 with almost certainly fried HG for literally its' scrap value. i originally bought it for the body panels and trim for my current TS. however, car's all good, still drives well and has long tax/MoT.

had a long chat with Dino (Deeno?), ran through all the options (including my original Plan A - just breaking it) and sorted out a "worst case" price. i expected a much higher number so the car will be going over there in the next few days

let you know how it all goes but so far so good

paul

I've used Deens off and on for a few years (moved away while my Brera was under Alfa warranty), so they've looked at my 157, GTV and now Brera.

They are pretty helpful - had a bit of an odd issue recently, and they looked at it straight away, booked in and they helped out. They know their Alfas pretty well, and unlike many dealers are very personal.

There aren't many indies in north surrey, only dealers, so they a good option.
