alfa wave/flash problem!

Tonight I "flashed" a Mito coming in the opposite direction.

I think it may have had the wrong effect, though, as it appeared that the lady driver thought i may have been trying to tell her something was wrong...she had a completely confused face!

oops

I've found this a lot with Mito and Joolyetta drivers

So I've now took to waving to them when I'm walking , that really confuses them

I fear I'll never get a flashy wave returned by a Mito driver!

I'm not sure what all this waving stuff is all about. Do you see folk in Vauxhall vectras waving to Astra owners? Nissan, Ford, Fiat. You name it.
I can understand it if you have a classic alfa and waving to another classic driver (probably rarish cars), but honestly...waving to a MITO or Jooley etc? They're hardly outstanding motorcars and the drivers probably couldn't give a toss as they're too busy getting Tarquin & Clamidia to school.

It depends if you see Alfa as a mainstream car brand which people purchase as a logical decision, or a slightly more exclusive club with some passion!
Unfortunately, I would say there are more Gulietta and Mito drivers are in the first half than some of the other models.

I don't tend to flash/wave Giuli or Mito drivers. Most of them have no idea about the wave. I get plenty of responses from 156, 147, 159, GT and Brera's though and virtually always from older models.

I waved at a white 159SW yesterday, from a Honda vaJazzle courtesy car. Got a very unsure wave back!

Took me a second to realise why

I had a wave off a Mito driver, we were opposite each other at a set of lights both, I gave a little wave of acknowledgement and got a friendly 2 finger wave back.

Probably not a member here
