Junction 26 Prestige Trade Centre

Has anyone dealt with these guys? They've got a GT for sale that I'm interested in but they are not replying to emails and I can't ring them from here.

If they are an okay dealer I'll pop and see then when I get home if they've still got it but if they can't be bothered replying to emails maybe I'll buy elsewhere!

Doesn't sound good. Not replying to phone calls or e-mails should be ringing alarm bells I think

On the other hand, if the beast is good and cheap and you don't care about a warranty or their after-sales work.. (i.e. buy at your risk) then it's still worth a look.

Absolutely and good GT's are not exactly common.

Its only emails they don't answer, I'm unable to phone them as I'm currently in Afghanistan but the things i need to know are important such as does it have both keys plus the advert says it has a limited slip diff which either means its a Q2 or its had the LSD retro fitted - either way I'd like proof as you can't tell just by looking!

I've had this disinterested attitude before from car dealers. I went to look at a Boxter about a year ago. I had cash in my pocket ready to go. The car had a totally flat battery so I couldn't see the roof work, start the engine or even open the bonnets (or shut the doors once I'd got them open!!). I asked them if I bought it now when could I take it away - the answer was "about ten days once its been through the workshop"!! They'd also put a private plate on it to make it look more desirable (which wasn't included in the sale and which also wasn't shown in the photos in the Autotrader advert).

On the other hand:

Junction 26 Prestige Car Sales Ltd, Nottingham | USED CAR DEALERS - Yell

1 star. "Avoid, Avoid, Avoid...Outstanding finance and mileage discrepancies...."

1 star. "HAD THE CAR 5 MINUTES AND TOOK IT BACK"

1 star. "TOTAL JOKE AND WASTE OF TIME"

1 star. "'bunch of idiots' especially lance the ''manager!!'' " ( I like that one the most.. )

1 star. "DO NOT BUY FROM THIS SHODDY COMPANY.... What a bunch of scammers..."

1 star. "angry customer...."

1 star. <You probably get the idea by now....> but it's a great read.

"never in my life have I known a garage like this. staff falling out and shouting at each other in front of customers and swearing at each other. No service or work done to the cars before delivery and the after sales is the worst I have ever known. Most of the vehicles for sale are bought from the auction and no money or very little is spent on them before the vehicles are delivered to customers. Avoid this cowboy set up at all cos ts.... "

1 star is the lowest score available, 5 is the highest. In all seven Prestige have seven 1/5 scores and one 2/5 score. Nothing higher than 2.

Your guts are probably right.. best save yourself the cost of that phone call.

No prob.
They did not sound like they were devoted to Customer Service but then I bought a car a couple of weeks ago and the salesman did not take his eyes off the TV for the entire transaction...

Turns out it was an Afghan Army soldier who opened fire on a group of Slovak force protection guys - killed one and injured eight.

That's originally an Aberdeen registration. I see it's been off the road for a bit - SORN'd on 18/02/13 : https://www.taxdisc.direct.gov.uk/Ev...execution=e1s3

Yes I checked out the dvla web site. So they might have had it since February which means they'll be keen to get rid of it!!
I might just drive over when I get home and take a look.
