little rubber mats in the doors of my 159..where are you?

I recently bought a 159 1.9 jtdm, which I love and enjoy driving everyday to work. It has been superb, recently did a 7 hour non stop Loch Lomond to Camberley trip in it, what a pleasure it was...anyway you can see I am enjoying it..

But...there are a few bits missing from the car when I bought it, and as usual its the small things that take up so much time..

The little rubber mats that sit in the door handles....where can I get some from...I need to get the complete set of four...anybody selling or have some spare.

I have read a few chats that say they are not available from dealers, so I have looked at getting some cut, but that would be around 30 quid.

Anyone got any better suggestions, thank you....its just bugging me now I know they aren't there )

You'll get more response on this on the 159 thread, have a search in there.

Otherwise best bets are either a dealer, or there are a few 159's breaking on e-bay, give the scrapers a call and they might send you the mats for a couple of quid.

Off topic slightly, but some companies are stupid when it comes to small parts, remember when the little plastic part on the tip of my gear stick ( with the gate pattern on) cracked, VW had to replace the ENTIRE gear stick! Lets hope Alfa don't sell it as part of the entire interior door trim!

Jag XE on order

my last 159 had all 4 when i bought it and none when I sold it????? I personally believe them to be in the bottom of a polish car wash vacuum cleaner! My latest 159 still has all 4, not in the doors mind you but safely tucked away in the centre console away from those overzealous car cleaners!

When I had my 159 I remember ordering one from somewhere on eBay for around £8. Seemed steep even for a 'bespoke' bit o rubber but it saved hassle and was annoying me. Subsequently realised it may have been sucked up by Hoover so be careful as they aren't glued down!

I'll see if I can find the seller in my account history and will post back if successful.

Just checked but it appears the seller (hwmalfaromeoparts) on ebay doesn't have any at the moment but has a limited stock of other Alfa parts. It was £6.95 + p&p for the record.

thanks to all, let the quest begin...I will update if I find a golden egg of these things in case others are
as niggled by their absence as I am...
And talking of not having a little part but having to buy the whole larger item...I am missing a little black clip
on the inside of my boot lid, the panel that opens to provide access to the boot lid workings....I just wanted to buy one, but Alfa quoted me for the whole thing....so the entire lining of the boot lid just to get a plastic part.....let that quest begin too

When we bought our 159 last December the ones in the back door were missing so the dealer ordered two for me. I'm still waiting for them .

I've got plenty of 156 ones, but I presume they are different?
