Cry Like A Baby Time to let the old girl go:(

After 6 years of ownership im sorry to say that my beloved 156 1.8 twinny is going on saturday. 141,000 miles and only just starting to show its age. Has been a tremendous car to live with.

Repair bills were becoming a pain but after all said and done I will be sorry to see her go

Am replacing it with a black 159 1.9 Turismo Picking it up on Saturday and cant wait!

Will post some pics of the new beauty on Sat!

Good old bus.. The '56 is actually a most splendid motor really..

Enjoy the new fella (though "1.9".. sounds like a diesel to me...? )

Yes I have gone to the dark side but i must say it is a beauty to drive. I will miss the 1.8 twinny dearly though superb engine.

I will post some pics of the 156 tonight as a farewell tribute.

My '45 is a 1.8 and that's pretty impecable too. 100,000 miles just up and it really doesn't leak or burn/use a drop of oil. What's all that aboot?

I'll probably keep the lad.. (it was just a stop-gap while I fixed my v6 subframe/rear bushes).. but I likes it..
