I have just bought another 156 05 2.4 jtd 20V mjet veloce to replace my trusty 03 2.4 jtd 10V with every thing "bose, cruise, Sports leather recaros etc
first issue is I am convinced my 10V is quicker ! and both are remapped !
the delivery of the 10V is just more in your back where as the the 20V has a more linear power delivery ? 20V is Remapped by angel tuning
where as my 10V was remapped by Alfa main dealer from new Using Red dot racing mapping !
20V is supposed to be circa 225BHP I think
where as the 10V is is supposed to be 195BHP
its just the 10V seems more torqueee cant put my finger on it ?
now both are high mileage with 10V up at 162000miles and 20V at 108000miles
but the 20V was a steal at £1600 with full service history and 18's on
I like the face lift however I love my sports leather its still mint and soooo comfy
So that got me thinking what about swapping the seats etc but would have to to see if leather bit will come off door cards as 20V has Alfatex on door card
Cant just do do straight swap as dash vinyl and door card vinyl are very different
Not sure what i would get for a fully loaded 10V with GTV 17's teledials and gta headlights etc It has been maintained regardless of cost as this is my 9th 156 so everything is maintained
its a tough call as my 10V is the spec I have always wanted
but 05 jtd MJet has a sexy front end ! and is newer !
What shall I do?
I will consider your thoughts carefully !
