Just looking on the Vauxhall Owners Network and saw this:

Can't see any mention of the cambelt being done. So budget for that.

£1000 should buy you a good one, that has had the belts done.

If you look, also check the floor isn't rusty. The usual places are the inner front wings, inner sills, and underneath the rear footwells.

The floorpan is designed to allow water in, and then trap it.
