A 507 Baldock to the A10

Has this road been experienced by anyone? I drove it on Sunday without any other car to spoil the drive.

All I'll say is that the bends are there to be driven and on one down hill set of sweeping bends, well, let's just say the satnav was struggling to keep up

Not much carbon (or pads) left!

BEST ROAD EVER

My Mate lives in Letchworth...so I travel up here to her from Bishops Stortford area regularly. I had a great drive Saturday night (About midnight so it was empty!) even made me forgive and forget the drunken chav who poured Beer over my car.

Its a truly awesome road, The Spider rarely comes out of third

Speak to GroovyLee, he drives it almost daily.

Yup have driven it a few times in my van

Drove it in the 159 for the first time a couple of Sundays ago with a motor bike in my rearview mirror, great fun and yes the bike did get past me when we caught up some other cars.
Did experience a bit of brake fade that day on the tight stuff.
Wish i had known the road a bit better

I must confess the front tyres took a fair old beating. I've driven the road a few times now on the way back from Shuttleworth airshows (boring on Sunday), but usually following other cars. Sunday was the first time I've had a clear run, had the car in 5th on one occasion - you wouldn't believe the satnav!!

The little humpback bridge used to be lethal before they flattened it off. Hubby once had a Motorbike, belonging to a customer and worth its weight in gold, off the floor and a bit wobbly on thathumpo Never took the spider over until after they flattened it

They flattened it? I must admit I saw it late and did brake (a bit).

I know it very well, a great drive in the car. Especially if Jamie Porter at Royston has done some work for me and I want to 'test things out' .

And if I want to go for a tough training ride on the bike, the relentless rolling up and down is a good test - ouch!
