Is third the new first?

I was astounded to see how well placed the 159 was in this Orange buying guide, of course we all would have put the 159 at the top, but this was mainstream people- The secrets out, ALfa's are hot cars

The only problem though:

The BMW "oozes quality" and the Audi has "outstanding driving dynamics". This does put into question the whole review .

Re: Is third the new first?

I was in a brand new 330d the other day and it did feel pretty quality inside. I've sat in a few 159s lately and I'd say the brand new 330d was about on a par with the 159 quality-wise. The new interior in the BMW is nicer looking than the old one was, but I don't think its a nice as the facelift 156 interior, which I think is the epitome of Alfa interiors in terms of style. 159 interior is very nice, but not as good as the facelift 156 interior IMO.

I see where your coming from, but it doesn't mention breaking down, and that shot of the font 3/4 view should have all BMW and Audi drivers green with envy

What happens when the world wakes up to Alfa and we have to wait years for a new one, and no one can afford second hand and all we can afford are boring German cars, ditched by people who have had charisma transplants...
I knew you were jesting Fraser I sold a dull VW to get my 156- and I have the transplant scars to prove it
