Visting Turin

I am currently in the area around Turin and Milan, and I was wondering if anyone had any good advice regarding Alfa related places to visit. I was hoping to get a peek of the Alfa factory in Turin, but I have yet to find out where it is… Shops to get hold of Alfa related gadgets/items, for instance model cars etc.

Anyone been visiting places like this in the past? Other visiting advice/tip are appreciated

Thanks!

Re: Visting Turin

In many ways, we preferred Turin to Milan. It "feels" nicer and is cheaper. There's Lingotto and a superb Musee del' Auto

Re: Visting Turin

I think there's an Alfa Romeo museum somewhere around there. If I can find out where it is i'll post it in here, that is unless someone else beats me to it.

Edit- Found it!

Re: Visting Turin

go to the lingotto. This is the old fiat factory thats been turned into a shopping centre.
You can get a lift to the top and see how they used to test the cars on the race track on the roof.
Its famous for the scene in the Italian Job and its used on the latest Bravo advert.
The is a car museum close by, unfortunately i didnt get to go there.
Enjoy,Turin it is a great City, much more interesting than Milan IMHO.

Thanks! I will look into it. Will probably visit Turin next weekend and will try the lingotto and the Alfa Romeo Museum.
