Not so much an "Alfa Wave", but......

almost as nice and very gratifying

What am I on about you may ask.....
This morning I took the Spider to work, for no particular reason. I was parked at a set of traffic lights when this absolutely stunning new Mazer Quattroporte pulled up next to me. I was trying to be not too obvious in my drooling, but stared at this vision of perfection out of the corner of my eye, when the driver rolled down his window and said: " Nice car".

I replied :"So is yours, want to swap ?"

He just "smiled and waved" as he pulled off.

Awesome car, when I grow up, I want a mazer as well

Anyone else have similar experiences when vastly more expensive car owners "fess up" that they like our cheapy Alfas ?

Good to hear. Sometimes I wonder if those rich people with Ferraris and Masers actually do have the same bug we do, or whether they just bought them cause they want the image and their accountant said they can.

I got talking to a Ferrari 360 owner at See Red last year, who had hired a 147 when on holiday and he said he absolutely loved it
