Cloverleaf Club - What's The Point?

I want to go on the Cloverleaf Club track day at Croft, close to where I live, so have been keeping an eye on the website for when tickets go on sale but it's still displaying the following message: -

'Tickets for this event will be available in April, be sure to check back to secure your place'.

IT'S FECKING JUNE!!!!!

I also fancy going to the Motorshow so checked out tickets on the Cloverleaf site. For this it also says: -

'Tickets for this event will be available in April, be sure to check back to secure your place'.

What IS the point of this site?

Someone needs to 'get their finger out'.

If it appreciates, buy it. If it depreciates, lease it.

It's currently run by ARUK so it's not surprising really is it

Like the gradually improving (in most cases) dealerships, I guess Cloverleaf will also improve.

I can not agree more!

I signed up for Cloverleaf 14-16 months ago after an invite from Alfa Romeo UK. First time I logged in it was "just a menu" with a few pictures. There have been a few updates but that is about it.

In currant state - Alfa Romeo UK is better off closing the site down. They are just making a joke out of them self.

I have addressed my concerns directly to Alfa Romeo UK. This time I got a response! Was told that "big things" is going to happed. That was six months ago or so....

Too keep it short: Alfa Romeo UK close it down - or do something with it......

In fairness, it changed pretty dramatically a couple of months ago - not sure when you last looked at it. It's far from perfect, but it's miles better than it was.

The forum is a bit quiet, but that's just the nature of new forums - no-one bothers posting on a forum until there's a critical mass of people already posting on it. A bit chicken and egg.

The fact that unless you have a new alfa now you need to pay for membership, they need to sort it out otherwise it is a bit of a cheek.

The site has come on leaps and bounds recently IMO. Still needs more though.

Like putting the tickets on sale when they actually say they will?!

They are the only two events that I'm interested in and have looked at, so for me they have a 100% failure rate!

By the law of averages there must be other events where the situation is the same?

I could understand if it stated 'tickets for this event will be available soon, be sure to keep checking back to secure your place'.

But they've set themselves up for a fall by stating that these tickets would be available in April and then failing to deliver. And they have failed.

Re: Cloverleaf Club - What's The Point?

Ha! I suspect The Cloverleaf Club people read this site.

Just checked to see if tickets for the trackday at Croft are on sale YET and the message about them going on sale in April (see my original post at the top) has been replaced with: -

'Tickets for this event will be available closer to the event, so be sure to check back to secure your place.'

I then looked at Motorshow tickets and the message about them going on sale in April too has been replaced: -

'As soon as tickets are released, we'll notify you here. So be sure to check back then for more details on how to book.'

At least we're keeping them on their toes now!

Ah, the power of the internet.

Re: Cloverleaf Club - What's The Point?

Oh yeah Cloverleaf Track Days.......I think I remember them. They used to have them up here at Knockhill Circuit.....but they can't be a*sed to have one in Scotland this year - something to do with lack of interest last year.

Well I certainly went along last year. But I guess brand loyalty means nothing to them after all.

So in reply to the original thread question - as far as I'm concerned there is no point!

Oh and I don't seem to have received the last copy of their mag either.

Sounds more like the Cloverfield club.
