The trukers are asking for the same as busses currently get so that they are on a level playing field with Europe, once they get this (if i suppose) they will not give a rats ass about the car driver

If car drivers want to protest good but the truckers will not support you if you hold them up

Re: fuel protests

lower fuels costs for truckers = lower prices in the shops

or conversely the higher fuel prices go the more expensive prices of good will get.

it is in everyones interest for truckers to get the same allowances as bus and coach companies.

Re: fuel protests

Now that many people are feeling the pinch finacially, they are finallly waking up to the level of tax that we have been screwed over for over the last 10 years or so.

And what good has the extra public spending acheived? The NHS is full of Chiefs and not enough Indians, and swallows up massive amounts of cash for not much gain for the end user. We have 3rd world quality roads, poor rail network, our country is now a more attractive target for terrorist due to the illegal wars we are waging. We have poor public transport, a high crime rate, prisons that are full of foreigners that have been let in to commit crimes. And lots more that I could mention.

It really makes me sick what has happened to my country.
