Excluding your own, where is your nearest Alfa Romeo?

For fun -

Beyond your own Alfa, where is your nearest Alfa? A neighbour’s? A colleague’s? Some random one you pass everyday?

I can walk to mine in less time than it took to write that sentence - the chap opposite me has a 147 GTA. 🙂

Where’s yours?

Giulietta 150MA

Somebody five doors away has recently disposed of their family Giulietta, but another regularly parks a few doors further on, though it doesn't live there. Otherwise there's one which lives just beyond the end of my road, under half a mile away.

There’s a Stelvio opposite a friend’s house not far from us. In fact my wife sent me an image when she parked next to it. As usual, the apple device inverted it.

Two Giulletta’s nearby, also (not Alfa I know but Italian) 488 Pista & 458 a couple of doors down.
Never see a Giulia or Stelvio round here tho unfortunately.

147 somewhere on the estate, so within a mile.

Giulia Quadrifoglio just moved in round the corner. Must have a chat with the owner!

Mito five doors away, Giulietta six doors away.

I live in a small market town with a population of sub 5000 yet there are another two Misano blue Veloces, identical to mine. Beechdale Alfa are responsible for this uncommon occurrence.

AMG C63 estate

I'm not aware of an Alfa anywhere on this estate. One of the teachers at Miss Bazza's school has a (not terribly well looked after) Mito though. And I see a Giulia QF drive past the end of the estate from time to time.

There's no other C63's on the estate either - but there is one (newer model) on the next road over.

Alfa GT 3.2

I live on a new estate & I'm surrounded by Mercs, Audis & BMWs. Not seen another Alfa anywhere in the village actually.
I live 2 miles from Truro which, granted, isn't the largest city in the UK but someone there must own an Alfa... Maybe...

Between five and ten minutes walk away (2 streets away) as far as I know.
There's a family that own about half a dozen (no exaggeration) Alfas plus a number of Fiats.
All older ones - 156s, GTs, GTVs, 155s, Spiders, Barchettas etc.
And every now and again I notice a new one's been added. I've always thought that they must be an Alfa specialist trader, but I've never seen anything advertised locally.
Streetview doesn't do it justice: https://www.google.co.uk/maps/@53.78...7i16384!8i8192
This shows better how many cars they manage to fit in at the front:
https://www.google.co.uk/maps/@53.78.../data=!3m1!1e3

Past: GTV T.Spark Lusso (owned 8 years) Present: 948 Spider LE (bought Nov. '10) Future: 8C (in my dreams )
Previously (selective): Porsche 944 Turbo; Porsche 944S; Jaguar XJ6; Audi Coupe; Mark 2 Golf GTI.

Interesting that they've applied to have their house scrambled on streetview. Which annoying stopped me getting a better look at that Fiat Coupe.

Isn't it. And it's only recently they've done it. I put a link on here once before and you could see it all. I could be the reason!

£380000 on Zoopla. You could get a nice 2bed maisonette in Bromley for that! Not so much parking though..

Don’t know of a single one near me.

We have BMW X5s, Land Rovers and Nissan squish squashs galore.

Oh and a brand new Pug 3008 opposite me, it looks lovely.

We’ve got one of those 3008s next door but one. And a Velar , Model X and GLE etc. And an XC90, appeared last week. The cars are just growing! The 3008 replaced a 156.

156 2.5 V6

About 10 years ago one chap in a nearby col-de-sac had a 156 once. I think it was a twinspark. Any way in the morning, when I was waiting for the bus he would completely thrash the poor car from a cold start. After a while I never saw the car again.

Now there is someone with a facelift 166 up my street, as well as someone with a 156 GTA. Strangely enough it was almost crashed into the other week as someone decided to drive down my street on the wrong side of the road. Both cars stopped, and the offender made their way to the correct side of the road. The GTA did sound nice driving a long the road when it took off again.

200 metres, white 147 Collectione. There's a Mito regularly parks in the road too, not sure if it's a resident. Don't recall seeing it at night.

The train :(

There's a nice looking dark blue Guila at the bottom of the hill, about 150 metres away.

I think that I would prefer if it was outside my house.

There’s a red V6 Spider across the road from me - I love parking opposite it so people driving up the road are greeted by those two snarling twins either side. There’s also a rather tasty black Giulia with red leather round the corner.

No other Alfas in the village - think someone down the road possibly had a Mito at some point but nothing otherwise. A friend's neighbour does have a Giulia Veloce though.

We can play "What's under the cover?" (on the left).

Take some guesses and then send Bazza round to have a peep.

There's a 166 at a neighbour's roughly 100 metres from my front door.
