Culture shock

I had a subaru wrx which I really enjoyed, it had covered 82000 miles and for me had never missed a beat, totally reliable and I got quite attached to it, I normally cover around 17000 miles a year and due to the thief we have in power I have had to look at my motoring expenses, It really was the nail in the coffin to know that my next years road tax would rise to £ 415.00, so after a bit of soul searching and a lot of research I bought a 147 JTDM Wednesday before last,Its silver with the red leather interior and was best described by my wife as a poncy car ( remember Subaru are not noted for their interiors ), I used for a couple of days and still by the following Saturday I still did not like it, it is so different to the scooby, anyway now I have in 10 days covered over 920 miles in it and I can honestly say It sure has grown on me, the engine is superb, bags of grunt, the interior is a nice place to be in and finally its such a pretty car.Its been round town, up and down the M25 and various A roads, doing 47.8 mpg
today I am really pleased I changed.and I got an Alfa wave
p.s. To make it even nicer I have saved over 15 gallons of fuel

Re: Culture shock

Get it down to Red dot racing and have it re-mapped. It will grow on you even faster then..

185 BHP is realistic, with hardly an fuel consumption penalty, and masses more torque.
