Not an Alfa

Re: Do you ever?

What stereo? Oh, that....

Rather listen to the V6

Cars are not the ideal listening environment anyway, so tunes are for indoors, Alfa is for driving!

ah don't get me wrong, I do love to have some decent music on or the radio at certain times, but about once every day or so, I'll turn it off and just listen to the vrooooooooooooooooom

Re: Do you ever?

I have talky adio like LBC on most of the time. Most of my travelling is spent sitting in traffic so I like a bit of debate and shouting at the numpties who call in

Re: Do you ever?

Depends what mood I'm in and what the weather's like - if it's hot I'll have the windows down, which kind of drowns out the radio anyway so it'll be switched off. It is often quite nice to just listen to the V6 though - not a feeling I've had in any other car.

Re: Do you ever?

I prefer to listen to the cars engine most of the time, however if I am driving to work and there is traffic I will put some music on.

Re: Do you ever?

Mine is my first alfa too, I prefer listening to the engine, which I have never done with any of the cars I owned in the past. Although it's only a 1.6 engine, it sounds great when the engine is over 3500 rpm. I engoy revving it every time.

Re: Do you ever?

Try a Busso V6 with a CSC exhaust. Stereos? Pah! Just for when I'm cruising on the m-way or stuck in traffic.

Cheers,

Nigel

Put the radio/stereo on once a month.................And that's just to make sure that the aerial doesn't seize up.

Re: Do you ever?

I have the Bose upgrade and cant help listening to a cd most of the time. If it's a especially good run i like to roll down the window press mute and hammer the girl to oblivion though.

Re: Do you ever?

I'd rather listen to anything rather than radio 1. Do these people really think I give a gnats chuff which nightclub some drongo from Huddersfield goes to on a saturday night. (no offence Huddersfield)

All the time!

Went for a hoon this morning around Surrey, both front windows open and the sunroof - pure bliss!
