Collector - how many cars does it take ?

I was asked by a customer this morning if I am a collector , seeing that I have four Alfas.

I never really thought about that..... How many cars would you normally have before you are labelled as a "collector" ?

Personally, I prefer to be called an "enthusiast" rather than a "collector"..... although some people would just call me "sucker", or "nut-job" for owning four Alfas

Any thoughts on this ?

Definitely an enthusiast. A collector by definition collects the car as primary purpose, I think in your case, you buy them to enjoy driving them.

You may want to simply own it.

It's not in the rules that if you buy something you "have" to use it.

You may just want to lick it..

I dunno... but the beast is not toooo shabby looking. People buy sculptures and just look at them.. why not some "automotive sculptures"?

CG, I would probably have had a lot more than 6 if it was up to me...... My wife will not allow me more than four.
I see cars advertised an all I can think is "where can I put (hide) it if I buy it ?? "
