Several Alfa's in convoy around London!

How strange is that
Driving round London last night and met half a dozen Alfaowner members driving round in a sensible convoy!

To look at you would had thought it was planned

The only way to get round London efficiently is to use the tunnels. Cuts out lots of traffic! Especially at that time in the morning.

It was even that hot at night that the only way I could find to cool down was to drive through the tunnels with my windows right down!

Twas a good laugh, Cheers lads

Whoa, that's weird - I was driving round London last night too and I think I came upon the same group of cars What are the odds?!

I have to say they were all driving very sensibly. They all drove considerately through the tunnels in high gears so as to keep the noise down. In fact when I was driving round the Barbican as this group of Alfas was just pulling off, I moved off slowly and quietly and overheard a man in a group of dressed-up people discussing how civilised we were, and although the cars would surely make a lovely noise as they laid down their power, that they were being driven in a very non-chavvy way and that he had the utmost respect for the drivers.

I was considering a drive around London last night, but was under the impression that I wouldn't happen upon any other Alfaowners.

Wish I had gone now

Re: Several Alfa's in convoy around London!

My clutch/tyres didn't smell very bad for a couple of minutes after I didn't cane it from standing because some guy in a suit who was out with his friends in The City didn't egg me on and absolutely love it

Luckily everybody wasn't making lots of noise so we didn't attract any attention from passers by

After you went home we didn't go back to the donut and we didn't get lost and confused on it again!

Might have to get a V6 so I can make the same noise at the front of the car as what comes out the back of my 1.6 TS!
It might make a frightfull noise in an enclosed space though!
