Wave Alloy wheel polish

I saw this review in yesterday's Autoexpress.

I already have the Autoglym stuff ready for the summer (or this weekend if it is fine).

Interesting stuff though & hopefully of some use

Cheers,

Currently using Wheel Wax....(only 3 stars)....as i had it in the garage .....seems to keep the wheels shiny and easy to clean.....

Re: Alloy wheel polish

I have Turtle Wax Extreme Nano-Tech Wax for Wheels which was the winner in that test with 5*. It works well but over time has to be reapplied like most polishes for it to be effective.

Re: Alloy wheel polish

As soon as I've used the Sonic Scrubber mentioned in my other thread, I'm going to make sure the wheels get a good sealing

Thankfully, the Ti wheels are a doddle to clean

Re: Alloy wheel polish

I now use P21s (few light sprays over the wheels) leave for 20 seconds then wipe over...amazing cleaning power.

Then protect with Poorboys Wheel Sealant

I buy my stuff from http://www.polishedbliss.co.uk but there seems to be a few places selling it

Re: Alloy wheel polish

Slightly off topic but has anyone tried the new Turtle Wax " Ice " polish kit that is currently being advertised ? Looks good but it is a TV advert after all.

Re: Alloy wheel polish

I have always stuck with Autoglym myself for most products.

18's are great but you can see right through them meaning you have to clean inside the rims too!

Re: Alloy wheel polish

Lucky I got some of that Nano-Tech (5*) stuff spare in the garage, I'll start using that when my Auto Glym stuff runs out
