'er indoors..........

Hi All..........

It's started, and I knew it would..........'er indoors has twigged on to the "micro boot" on my GTV.........I kept it a closely guarded secrets for six weeks.............. She just went off in it to pick upour daughter and grandson and take her home..........and......

"The bloody bot is crap on that car.......I couldn't get the pushchair in it"........

........Closely followed by "You'll have to change it for something with a bigger boot"........."oh and the back seats aren't very good either, a bit small"

This is serious............

Cheers to All
Peter

Just say "Well I didn't buy it for you". Thats what my dad says to my mum when she doesn't approve of his cars.

I agree with SymonH, GR.

Its your car for you to use, she wants a big ugly car to carry crap around in, let her buy one. You keep you GTV for what you need it for

Brera: comparatively massive boot.

Go on, she's given you carte blanche.

Re: 'er indoors..........

How about a Divorce?

You could buy a 3.2 GT instead though or get a Trailer.

How often does she pick your daughter and kid? If it's every 6 weeks or so then she'll have to live with it!

Re: 'er indoors..........

The 147 is quite capacious, for a hatch back. Want a good 12,000miler, so that I can get that desired GT, to satisfy my cravings? Thought not, oh well, just thought I would mention it.:

Re: 'er indoors..........

When I set out to replace my 4yr old Skoda Fabia vRS (Low budget when I got that, but a great car!), the missus gave me a specification:

Family car, 4 doors, large boot, practical for her and the kids and shopping, Max £18k ...

Came back with a GT Blackline!

She loves it too though so it won't be going anywhere and its only the kids that have to climb in and out of the back so they can lump it.

Does have a most spacious boot so got that bit right! In the case of Green_Rizla, missus should go first!!!

Hope it all works out.

Re: 'er indoors..........

clearly she's going to have to get a second job in order to buy an MPV. or a Brera, the boot is comparatively huge on that.

The boot in a GT is huge ! with added benefit of fold down rear seats.

Re: 'er indoors..........

point out that she may have some things that are too "small"
or too "big" but your not looking to change her.
