I can see the point - Abarth and Alfa share more brand values than Jeep & Alfa. However I suppose they put Alfa & Jeep together because they share price points (Renegade/Compass/Giulietta, Giulia/Cherokee, Stelvio/Grand Cherokee). Abarth are effectively Fiat's with a different badge and more performance, so that's why they're lumped together.
I don't dislike the approach, but I wish they'd consider putting Alfa with Maserati, especially in areas where there's no Alfa dealer coverage but there is a Maser dealer, such as in Edinburgh, Cardiff & Manchester. I also have reservations about having to take the £60k odd Quadrifoglio's to the same dealer that services a £15k MiTo or even (in some cases) a £10k Fiat Panda. An option to take QFs to a Maser dealer should be available, I think.
