Some interesting stuff. Cheers Kevin.

Q2 and ally parts.

They removed the stitch Alfa logos
from the headrests!

Unless they've some great deals, think
I'll wait for the new engines....

New lightweight wheels. Hmmm....

Re: New Brera/Spider Specs

The seven air bags interest me.......
1) are they used to eject the Spider soft top during an accident
2) Used to compress the passengers in a Brera......

Some cosmetic changes to the bumpers too (not so sure about the rear). The interior and seats look wonderful.

Re: New Brera/Spider Specs

Love the wheels and seats.

I wonder if they've made the aluminium trims on the inside of the doors any harder?!

No mention of the Ferrari Natural interior.

I've also heard rumour of a Prodrive Edition Brera with motorsport inspired wheels, seats and other go faster goodies. Bit like the Prodrive RX8, so bolt on bits rather than huge engineering changes. Which is nice.

Re: New Brera/Spider Specs

The Prodrive rumour was discussed here a long while ago.

I am personally not sure they'll ever make a GTA version of the Brera/159.

It's not a GTA version BF. Just an enhanced trim/accessorised/limited edition type thing. Let's see anyway....

Re: New Brera/Spider Specs

The new seats look better, with more under the leg support. The new steering wheel also looks a bit nicer. Are they saying that the sat-nav is now a standard item, or still an option? No mention of a manual gearbox either. How much is the (inevitable) price rise, I wonder.
Matt.

Regarding the lack of manual transmission, I think its a translation error.. It says either an "automatic 6-speed gearshift, or Q-tronic". That sounds like a mistake to me, as the Q-tronic is a 6-speed auto isn't it?

Re: New Brera/Spider Specs

Dont think the steering wheel has changed - loks similar to the one in my spider - the seats look the muts nuts though, just missing the AR badge.

Re: New Brera/Spider Specs

Can't believe it. My worst fears confirmed! I love the new interior colours, and that we can finally get 'natural' leather, but why oh why oh why did they have to mess around with the look of the thing - that was the part that was 100% perfect!

I just had a really nasty uneasy feeling they would start messing with the styling when they made the other changes, and they have... and YUK. What's with those squared-off bumpers??? WHY!!!

Do you mean on the red Brera, the back bumper? I think that is just a reflection - if it's squared-off, then the parking sensor will be along the side.

Re: New Brera/Spider Specs

Defo a reflection on the bumper - take a look at the spider and that does not have the squared off look.

I don't think you need worry about Alfa tweaking the styling. The rear bumper (certainly on the Brera) has always had a lip below the script which you may take to be the "squared off bumpers" and the scalloping off the sills under the doors is exaggerated in the photograph. Thankfully they've left the styling alone!
