Re: No more car park dents
Some dents can be removed from the out side. They use a yellow glue on a hot glue gun and then stick a plastic pad to it.Once the glue is set a slide hammer is put on the plastic pad and pulled back out.The pads can be cut to shape of the dent. There is a deactivating spray to remove the glue afterwards. If the dent is pulled too far out a nylon stick is used with a small hammer to gently remove the raised section. If the dent is to be removed from behind, bars will be used. They will start from the outer edge of the dent and work around in decreasing circles.
It is easier if the trim is removed in some cases, this will give more options for access.I would do this myself though as grahbigg says save money and clips.Usually though if dent is on a door they will go in from above by the window rubber, although this can damage clips holding on the rubber so check before paying. On a three door or coupe it's easier to gain access through the boot trim for quater panel repairs.Saves taking the seats and side trim out. Also shop around as some charge per dent but most now charge per panel usually around £30
