Crashed GTV, better than ever.

My beloved GTV had a little coming together with a Corsa, but survived and should be better than ever.
Iíll not go into detailsl about the accident, suffice to say the third party admitted full liability.
The damage was to the front passenger side, cracked bonnet, scraped bumper, scuffed alloy, cracked wheelarch and plastic shielding under the bonnet, and a scuff along the door.
Thankfully Adrian Flux / NIG were excellent and the car was taken into the bodyshop and is due out next week.
That means a new bonnet (no more stone chips!), refurbed alloys (they are doing all four so they look the same) resprayed bumper and new plastic bits under the bonnet.
I called in yesterday to have a look at it and the scuff on the door had polished out, and wow what a finish.
I had clayed it a few months ago, and when they machine polished it with g3 polish, itís like a mirror. Canít wait to get her back.

I know its not a very interesting post, but I guess what Iím saying is every cloud has a silver lining.
