Overkill?

Will be needing a new back box at some point soon.I have the Alfaholics centre section fitted already, but not too keen on the single oval exit on their back box.So i am thinking about this one (see pic)only i would paint the tail pipes matt black so it's not too in your face.My question is, will this be a bit OTT on a 2.0T.spark? Not keen on the twin exit system as the outlets are too big and look to close togeather.

Re: Overkill?

I wouldn't bother painting them black, just do it. Or go with the single original rounded rectangle end, i like that, but you probably fancy a change so go with the quads - like a Brera!

Re: Overkill?

that would look excellent on a 1994 corsa 1.2 merit with a bodykit painted in primer

Don't paint them though... stainless is more purty.

Re: Overkill?

Yeah Alfie I'm a bit worried about painting them black, isn't the paint going to get all blistered and horrible over time? In principle it would work as your car is black (right?)... Hmmm, on balance I still think you want to leave them unpainted...

Hi, I will scotch and etch prime and then use a high temp paint so shouldent blister.Yes my car is black and so is the origional tail pipe.Just not too keen on shiny tail pipes, one or two yes but not 4.Would just be too much look at me.But i'll see once i know for sure what i will be fitting

Re: Overkill?

It looks wonderful....and not necessarily overkill, it makes sure all the little wannabes suddenly understand just what an Alfa can really do in comparison with their Subies and Mitsis and related Japanese white-trash road-racer mirth mobiles.....(there are too many that have blitzed at the lights in Auckland, and I really do not like at all)

Re: Overkill?

Well.I changed my mind I went for the Alfaholics system in the end.I already had the middle section, and it only seemed right to finnish the job.I was a little put of by the Raggazon because of all the clamps to fit all the pieces togeather and that the system fits both V6 and T.Spark.And that it cost 100 more. The Alfaholics system has been developed to suit the T.Spark and V6 indervidually And are very well made by Phoneix Exhausts (i am told this is a very good thing)Also i wont be painting the tail pipe by the way,as there is only one.It should be arriving on wednesday,so i will fit it asap and let you all know how it is.

Thanks for all your input
