Owners Help/Advice Required by Dealer

Does anyone have first hand experience of a remap or chip for the Brera 3.2 V6? I have a customer who loves the car but wants a little bit more go. Its not something that we have been involved with before but I would rather give him advice based on real experience than purely what the sellers website says.
It doesn't neccesarily need to be a huge power increase, just something that makes it that bit quicker on acceleration.

Any opinions would be gratefully recieved

Not really.

Although Autodelta have been having a pop at this recently. They normally just whack a supercharger in there. :/

Autodelta Shop

I believe the user "Slimbloke" has a supercharged 159 3.2.

The remap alone may not please the customer. Although If interested I can put you in contact with Red Dot in watford. They have been remapping cars for the local Audi dealer for the past couple of years.

AutoDelta do a re-map for that very engine.

£464.13 seems reasonable too and you can could on Jano to do a great job

I did see that, has anyone had it done to theirs as it doesn't seem that big an increase although it does lead you to believe that it makes a big difference. I wonder what it shaves off the 0-60 time etc

We don't map petrols, but if I was going to use another companies products I would go Superchips. I don't like to praise a competitor too much but I like the way they work.

Re: Owners Help/Advice Required by Dealer

perhaps your customer should wait for the FWD 3.2, the car seems pretty well planted in 2.4 form so should be fine in FWD 3.2 guise were there is less torque to keep in check, it won't need the tuned for extra power as there will be less losses without 4WD and also a bit lighter, there were also rumours of a power hike on the 3.2, perhaps you can find out about that for them.

Fair point re the 2WD but the customer wants the 4WD.
We have had the new specs for the 2008 model year cars and no mention of a power increase.
I suppose the Autodelta option is the best but I could really do with someone who has had first hand experience

Just had my 159 3.2 remapped by local Autodelta agent .Initial review is that it is much smoother, accelerates better and more torque, cant comment on fuel consumption yet but will know after current tankfull
