OBD Lead Information

I bought a OBD lead that worked on my 2000 156, i've now got an earlier 96 GTV that uses the 3 pin plug. I've noticed you can get an adapter that changes a OBD style plug into a 3 pin one. Will this work fine with my lead?

Re: OBD Lead Information

Can I just wire from my OBD 16 pin lean into the 3 pin plug that older Alfa's use. Basically, find out which 3 pins on the 16 pin plug are the ones and link them to the car's diagnostic port.

Anyone done that before? If so, what 3 pins are they?

Re: OBD Lead Information

Can someone move this thread for me, it's a bit technical for GD. Cheers.
